Children learn best when they are fully engaged and entertained. Our structured fine art lessons help children develop thought patterns and technical skills that are essential to the creative process. Benefits to the student include improved visual-spatial skills, increased self esteem, confidence and attention to detail, an expanded image vocabulary and improved patience and behaviour. Art is often seen as a luxury, an unnecessary expense or a less important subject. We believe art and creativity are essential to allow children to grow and become the creative thinkers of the future.
Why the Little Art School of Herts?
In our classes children learn to focus and concentrate. Parents and carers are often astounded at the difference in a child’s artistic work after attending just one session.
There is a natural decline in most children's confidence in art and drawing, especially as they approach the ages of 8 or 9, which we seek to address. Our methods help children overcome this obstacle and we love watching our students' self esteem soar, along with their artistic development.
We understand the importance of the visual arts in developing a young child's mind and the value of multi-sensory education for all children including those with special needs such as ADD, dyslexia and autism. All teachers are DBS checked.

Private Tuition

Siblings?
We can try to accommodate twins or similar age and ability siblings at the same time. Please ask for details.
Art Themed Parties
For groups of up to 12 children you can book an art party where children will take part in art activities. You can also choose other optional party extras such as balloon modelling, an entertainer, games and an art themed cake!
