One to One Art Tuition

Art is essential for a fully rounded education and yet it is often the first thing to be scrapped in a demanding school curriculum. Fill the gap that education cuts have caused and give your child the chance to be creatively inspired. Our children develop skills which are an essential part of their development and education and have a positive, marked improvement in their reading and maths abilities. Visual/spatial reasoning and fine motor skills are developed with our fine art tuition. The future belongs to people who can think outside the box, demonstrate creativity and see the big picture.

The Little Art School of Herts is dedicated to giving children the essential abilities they need to grow and learn effectively. Our lessons are engaging and educational!

Fine Art Classes

One-to-one lessons

Fun, engaging, educational sessions with a definite structure to nurture your child's visual and artistic development, increase perceptive skills and enrich the imagination. We cover exciting new projects and learn about different artists, using various techniques along the way. Lessons are tailored to meet children's growing needs and to encourage them to further develop their own creativity and style, all within a structured framework which gives our students security and confidence in themselves.

How will art classes help my child?

Research shows that 80% of children are primarily visual and tactile learners. In other words, children need to see, touch and do in order to learn effectively.  Children learn best when learning involves their senses.  We acknowledge this and our students are encouraged to explore their natural creativity.  Young children gain improved concentration skills and learn to focus, order and sequence which gives them essential tools they need to equip them for future learning.  These benefits also help older students whose confidence and abilities flourish as they create a body of art work to demonstrate their growing skills and competence.
